Ruth Hogben, the director behind Gareth Pugh’s short films/fashion shows and many of Showstudio’s digital projects chinese-sharpei.de chinese-sharpei , teamed up with Givenchy to produce this short film for Barneys. Like her other work, it features an almost gothic-model swaying to music in gorgeous flowing clothes (leopard here, since it is Riccardo Tisci). It’s hardly a commercial — you can barely see the clothes — but it’s enough to make you want to buy into whatever it is they’re selling.
