The amount of venture capital money raised by Michigan companies fell sharply in the third quarter, dropping from $114.9 million invested in 11 companies in the second quarter to just $14.5 million invested in seven companies, according to the Money Tree Report issued today by PricewaterhouseCoopers and the National Venture Capital Association and based on data compiled by Thomson Reuters.
